I may be one of the last to jump on this bandwagon, but I sure am glad I didn’t miss it completely!
It took me way too long to actually try this product. Just about everyone on the internet raves about them, and the internet can’t be wrong, RIGHT? I finally gave in when I spotted the display in Target, and picked up the Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Gel Shadow, in the color ‘Bad to the Bronze.’ I choose a neutral, to start off slow.
I have the shades Bad to the Bronze (cream gel / metallic bronze shade with warm golden undertones), Tough as Taupe (cream gel / satin finish grey-taupe), Inked in Pink (metallic shimmer light pink), and Barely Branded (metallic shimmer cream). They are all buttery, smooth, and oh-so-easy to apply. I use my finger to warm up the product so it just melts right onto my lids. The product is easy to blend once it is on with both fingers or with a brush. The color is buildable, but once the shadow has set, it does not move, so it is best to move quickly! They also work well as a base for other shadows.
The product is in a glass pot, which sets them apart from many other comparable drugstore shadows. It makes them just a little more stylish than most other drugstore shadows. They have each certainly worked their way into my daily routine, especially when I am in a rush, as they have some serious lasting power and are quite effortless to apply!
