March Favorites

March Fav LogoMarch Fav CollageThis is my first attempt at a monthly favorites roundup, and there seems to be a bit of a theme in this collection: effortless and fresh. Check it out!

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray  This stuff truly does live up to the hype. This is the lobs best friend. I spray this up into the ends of my hair and through the roots for an undone texturized look. It is also gives second day hair a bit of grip for updos and braids. Not to mention, it smells amazing!

Chloé Eau de Parfum  I don’t know why it took me so long to get a whiff of this, but once I did, I was hooked. It is beautifully fresh and the perfect everyday fragrance. Its notes include: pink peony, freesia, lychee, magnolia flower, lily of the valley, rose, cedarwood, amber, and honey.  If you haven’t already, smell this the next chance you get!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush (Classic)  This is a mini blush from the Chic to Cheek set that was available as a quad for Christmas. It is a sheer peachy pink that looks very natural, but has some serious lasting power. This shade pairs well with just about any makeup look. It blends easily, and is buildable to the desired opacity.

NYX Butter Lipstick (Pop)  This is a recent discovery, but I really like this formula as I am getting acquainted with it. The color is an effortless ‘my lips, but better’ shade, with a bit of a retro brown undertone. I have been wearing this almost every day since receiving it in my March ipsy.

Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil (Sable Brown 011)  This is one of the best eyeliner formulas I have come across in a while, drugstore or not. It glides on easily, blends well, and does not run. That’s about everything you could ask for in a liner. The deep brown color is also less harsh than a typical black kohl liner. Thumbs up!

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint (Porcelain)  For someone with both dry and oily skin, this is perfect. I like to work it into my skin using my fingers, finishing it off with a bit of concealer.   It leaves a mattified, yet luminous finish to my skin. It is an oxymoron in a tube! Great natural finish and lightweight feel.

Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow (Bad to the Bronze)  I have mentioned this product in a previous post, and I still love it. The formula allows for easy application and blending, until it sets, which is when the tattoo part comes in!

Real Techniques Bold Metals 200 Oval Shadow Brush  The all in one brush makes another appearance! It is a true multitasker, packing on product with the broad side, and blending out with the tapered end. Now to collect the other brushes from this collection…
