April Ipsy – Beautifully Bohemian

Spring is my favorite time of the year, there is so much to look forward to, and it puts me in such a good mood to see all the flowers blooming and the weather changing. This month’s Ipsy theme is Beautifully Bohemian, which fits the season perfectly! Let’s take a look into my bag…

The first thing I pulled out of the bag is a Julie G Nail Polish in the shade Damsel. It is a pretty mid-tone pink shade. It goes on smoothly, has a beautiful color, and dries quickly. What more can you really ask for in a polish? Not to mention it came with a coupon for the purchase of another.

I was totally expecting to hate this next sample, but the Hikari Cosmetics Blush is now one of my favorites. The color I received is Tango, and it seemed way too bright for me at first. When I tried it, I just used a tiny amount and it is gorgeous! It has a bit of a sheen to it, with a coral undertone that is universally flattering. The only downside is that it produces quite a bit of fallout in the pan.

Next up we have theBalm Cosmetics Nude Dude Eyeshadow Single. This is my new favorite shadow! And I know, I have WAY too many palettes, but now I am thinking I need this one too! Oh well. I received the shade flirty, a purple with a golden shimmer, which I really like against my brown eyes. The shadow blends out so easily, but is oh so buildable. I definitely will be trying the shadow wet as well, as recommended. Great sample.

I had never really heard about this brand before Ipsy, but this sample from MicaBeauty was great! This eye primer both color corrected, and kept my shadow crease free all day (and night.) It even looks good alone to even out the color of my eyelids. It is a generous sample size, as well. It has been added to my every day routine eve since I got it.

I have a few of these little samples of the Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk from previous beauty subscriptions, which is nice because I am always using up bottles of the stuff. It smells nice and makes my hair look clean and fresh. The only downside, as with most dry shampoos, is that is leaves a white powder in my hair that has to be rubbed in. It is a lifesaver to stick this in my bag. You never know when you will need it!
