June 2015 Ipsy

Cat Beauty Liptitude Hydrating Lip Stain // I received the color Blow Your Mind, which is a bright pinky peach shade. This product is supposed to act as a hydrating stain, but I would definitely not consider this a stain, as it never really set, and wiped right off. It also does not dry to a matte finish; it stays really glossy and slippery on the lips. I also found it difficult to apply just using the doe foot applicator. It had to be blended in with my finger to get an even coating. Though I liked the color, this product was not my favorite.

Smashbox Cosmetics Photo Finish Foundation Primer // This was my first time trying a Smashbox Cosmetics primer, and it was well worth the wait. This primer feels so good on the skin. It goes on smooth, and really evens out skin by filling in lines and pores. My makeup went on so nicely over top of it. It also looks good on its own, on a no makeup day. It also seemed to prolong the life of my makeup. The only downside is that is really did not help keep the oil from shining through very well, but overall it is a great primer!

BioRepublic SkinCare Sheet Mask Trio // These masks are great! It was my first time trying sheet masks, and I am a convert, to say the least. After the mask, the product stays on your skin and keeps doing its job, which I love. They are so refreshing and cooling and left my skin so refreshed and supple. I received three different masks: Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask, Cucumber Breeze Soothing Fiber Mask, and Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask. The Cucumber Soothing mask was definitely my favorite.

Glamierre Flat Top Concealer Brush // At this point, I pretty much have more brushes than I know what to do with. Surprisingly, I did not have one like this in my collection. This duo-fiber synthetic hair brush works for many different purposes, but I like to use it to blend concealer. It easily pushes the product into hard to reach places, like around the nose and undereye area.

tre’StiQue Mini Shadow Crayon // This is a nice little shadow crayon. It goes on smooth, has a buildable color, and blends easily.   I received the shade Venetian Gold, which is a metallic gold brown color. It acts well as a base for other shadows as well. The thing that really made this product for me, was the packaging; it is adorable! The lid looks like the shadow stick is exposed, but it is really a roll up stick underneath.
